Disappointment

This hotel was such a disappointment. I was on the 2nd floor, and the smell of cooking/spices was overwhelming. I noticed my neighbor jammed a towel under her door to prevent the smell from coming in. The pool was freezing, hot tub did not work, also cold. Breakfast was messy, slim pickings, fruit was awful. Bedroom smoke detector was removed/disabled. Towels were threadbare.

So apon checking in, we left immediately to go out and didn't go to our room! When we arrived back at the hotel at 11pm at night, our room looked to have been used, slept in, got ready to order. what ever it may have been my room WAS DIRTY. Apon trying to get it corrected, we were moved to a new room. It also seemed like the three staff members that I had spoke didn't care to try and doing anything past moving our room. I was told when checking out the next time I stay here I would get a big discount by a work not a manager. When I asked for a manger I was told he wasn't there yet and when I wanted a phone I wasn't given one. I understand that people make mistakes but this hotel was sold out why was it only our room no cleaned. As of right now I give less then a one star.

My New Favorite Hotel in Murfreesboro, TN.

I love this hotel! I was in town due to a life long hobby having a sale. Room was clean & plenty of room. Towels where soft & plenty! Comfy bed too. A/C good. Fairly quiet. Could see the owner tried to make everyone welcomed. Breakfast was included. But not a huge Breakfast person. What I saw was muffins, juice., cereal, bagels, cofee, tea. Very clean. Only things not a fan was should be one good liht. Possible over the desk. But most of us, just want to sleep with no bright light. So, understandable. I didn't care for the coffee. Not a huge deal breaker. If you been on the road for hours. An you want a shower & to sleep, perfect hotel for you!! There are other hotel in the area. I have tried a few. This one is my favorite!

Lighting in bathroom was not sufficient. Area around coffee maker was not cleaned well. Lid for ice bucket was missing. Breakfast choices were very limited, no eggs, dausage or hot cereal. Room and bathroom was clean. Staff were friendly, but did mot speak English well.

Disappointed.

Room bedding seemed clean, but horrible musty mildew smell. Discovered the floor and wall were wet- assumed from leak in shower... dark discoloring and likely mold . AC worked but very noisy. Check in and out was hit and mis. Eithr no one at desk, or personnel / staff hardly spoke English. Exspected much better.

The room was really dark. Only a few lamps/lighting in the room. The elevator and hallways had an off or strong smell. The breakfast area was really dark with very limited amount of food. The bed was fine for one night and it’s a good thing I had my pillow. They pillows they have are this small square things. The carpet looked like it was in need a a good cleaning. It’s right off the highway so it was a little loud with traffic.

Some wonderful, some not very good

Amazingly comfortable beds & quiet. Nice room. Friendly staff. Bathroom light switch was filthy. Piece of metal sticking out from bed platform, dangerous. Would stay again but do a more careful inspection before accepting room. Remote didn’t work, front desk said they’d be up in a few minutes, never showed.

Not worth it!

This property is all about money. Not Guest, I have stayed here several weeks. And the breakfast is horrible. The night auditor she changed it for a few days gave different options which were great! But it was a teaser. Just for it go back. To jimmy dean frozen sauge biscuits sandwich, frozen breakfast burritos. To make matters worest. Roaches in the breakfast area. I left this property due to front desk inappropriate yelling at me. Just for them to begg me to come back due to the amount of money that had been spent since mid January of this year. So I came back because I was told i would get a flat rate. Well 3 weaks after being told that it never happened. I was lied to repeatedly weak after weak. So I left a day early on this last reservation at 10am. And they still charged my card when that is illegal to due so. Guest have the right to check out early. Without being charged. I called to dispute the charge and was told. To call back he was not dealing with it. As long as i stayed at this days inn, and all the money that has been spent and to be yelled at, lied to regarding rate. I would never ever recommend this property. They have no clue about hospitality business. The ONLY GOOD THING WAS HOUSEKEEPING UB WAS EXCELLENT AND THE NIGHT AUDITOR LADY. But when they realized the thousands of dollars I spent to stay there due to a circumstance. I was begged to come back just to be lied to repeatedly.
