The front desk clerk was competent, but not sparkling, and seemed distracted. The obvious fake eyelashes were unprofessional and offputting. The room was too cold, and there was no way to adjust it. The heating/cooling system was stuck on "LC" for some reason.

Pillows too soft

Hampton in usually offers an assortment of pillows with different firmness. This was the third time that I stayed at this motel and all they offered were very light pillows with no body. My wife thought that our bath area was dirty and showing its age. Last time that I will stay there.

Like most Hampton Inn buildings, its well maintained and lots of amenities. The downside was the pool was closed and the grass was way too long to walk my dog. I ended up walking her at the Outback Steakhouse's well groomed grass. Last, but not least, I paid for a king suite and got a 2 queen room which supposedly there was nothing the front desk clerk could do.
