We would not recommend at this time!

We drove from Kansas City & arrived around 6:30pm. It was obvious that exterior remodeling was in progress. The check in area was good. We noticed very few cars around the property. The room we were given definitely needed some TLC. The furniture had seen better days. We believe it had been smoked in. The bed was nicely made, but the wall next to the bedside table had some kind of red/orange substance splashed on it. We chose to wipe down surfaces with disinfectant wipes before unpacking. The floors in the vanity& toilet areas were dirty near the walls. The shower curtain was partially torn & there was no drain stopper in the tub. The smoke detector cover was off & obviously had no batteries. At 10:30pm it started beeping. Someone came to check it& just took it apart. He offered for us to change rooms, but we declined as we were leaving early the next day. There is a lot of traffic noise. We did have a 15lb. Poodle mix dog with us & we paid the extra pet fee. Maybe that’s why we were given this room? Hopefully after the remodeling, it will be better.

The property is under construction which was not advertised on Hotels.com, I'm travelling with a 2 year old and not safe to be around broken glass and building material all over the property. The key didn't even work to get into the room. overall bad experience and I had to go to a different hotel, I want my money back.

La Quinta Nashville South

We stayed at the La Quinta Inn, the lobby looked amazing, the rooms on the other hand not so much. I do understand they are going through construction but it only takes 5min to sweep or vacuum. The one mattress had a huge indentation in it. They said queen beds but they were definitely 3/4 beds if that. The beds had dead bugs and other stuff on the top comforter. They came in to do cleaning that we had no idea they were doing, they picked our dirty and used towels up and just hung them to dry instead of replacing. We went to breakfast and the employees just looked at you and weren’t friendly. It only takes a few seconds to say good morning or hello. Tried to use the tv, no remote, microwave had no plate. I have a restricted diet so really needed the microwave. Phone was not plugged in. Light switch didn’t work. Shower leaked. Overall location wasn’t too bad, kind of sketchy hotel but nice restaurants near by and free parking but definitely would NOT recommend!! Tried to cancel and that wasn’t an option.

Terrible Time in Nashville

The place was just awful the beds was nasty there was tiny bits of Styrofoam everywhere in the room and bed when asked to clean was told we are under construction and when went to get breakfast was told they stop serving at 10 i was like well its 930 am he was like well we ran out just got to be worst place ever

Would never stay again, I slept in my car one night out of fear. Towels, bed linens, floors were filthy. The shower actually had blood in it, along with black mold. Under construction so all workers were at the hotel which felt unsafe. Never stay here if you are a women!! You will get hurt!! Someone was banging on my door at 3:00am trying to get in.

This property is under rehab so that’s understandable. Near a freight yard and constant breaking noise. Linen left slot to be desired. One bed should be called the casket because of the mattress.

There is constant noise outside of this facility because of construction and the screeching of a nearby train. The room needs some serious refreshing. The WORST part of the experience was the ROACHES in the room. One large one crawled across my bed and a small one was in the bath tub. It’s a $70 a night room. That’s not too expensive, there shouldn’t be ROACHES in the rooms. If one has them, they all do.

ABOMINATION

We did not stay at the hotel since it was not clean, there was urine and paper in the toilet and the fan sounded like a helicopter landing in the room. We requested a refund but were refused. I will never stay at La Quinta nor use Hotels.com again. I will let everyone know how terrible this experience was.
