Sip morning coffee on a private porch overlooking the forest. Walk the trail to Lake Gratitude. Catch a romantic sunset at the Overlook. This is a true reset: quiet, secluded, and yours alone.



The Space:

Your cabin is the private lower level of the LakeTrail House; fully self-contained with its own driveway, entrance, porch, and forest views. While this is a lower unit, it's fully sound-isolated; you won't see or hear a thing.

Inside: a king bed, full kitchen, dedicated workspace with fast WiFi, and a private bathroom. Step outside your door to your own hot tub, positioned for an unobstructed view of the surrounding woods and a front row seat to middle Tennessee's famously beautiful sunsets.

Bright, airy, and warm with afternoon sun; designed for couples and solo travelers who want nature without giving up comfort. (No pets)



Guest Access:

You'll have the full run of the Fork Inn's 3,000-acre conserved valley. Walk the forest trail to Lake Gratitude to hike the loop, visit the beaver dam, or picnic at the Lakeside Shelter. Cross to Creekside Park and its shelter, or cool off in the 1,000-gallon stock-tank pools (May–October).

Fishing is great with a TN state license - smallmouth bass and bluegill. Bikes, canoes, kayaks, and paddles are available through the neighboring Center for Sustainable Stewardship. Don't miss the 1.2-mile Fork Inn Trail that winds across the creek.



The Neighborhood:

You're tucked inside the Fork Inn, at the head of a pristine creek in a stunning valley, which is part of a 3,000-acre conservation easement with an 8-acre lake, miles of creek, meadows, and trails.

By the numbers: 20 miles to downtown Na shville · 8 miles to historic Franklin (Main Street, top restaurants, boutique shopping) · 7 miles to the village of Leiper's Fork. Be sure to visit one or more of our 23 local farmstands, enjoy refreshing stops at Leipers Fork Distillery & Crown Winery, a great meal and hospitality at the legendary Country Boy Restaurant, and a cocktail at The Tornado Room speakeasy - and live music at all of the above!

Bike or walk onto the Natchez Trace Parkway within a mile. Borrow bikes and kayaks from the Center for Sustainable Stewardship next door, and meet the farm crew at Big East Fork Farms — Rosie the donkey and the piggies — plus fresh organic produce.



Other Things to Note:

Your cabin is completely private and yours alone. Two other cabins sit under the same roof, each with separate entrances and porches — the only shared space is the driveway. Want total seclusion? You can book out the neighboring cabin (LT1, directly above) for an additional $150/night. All hot tubs are private to each cabin.

This cabin offers its guests a hot tub, barbecue grills, and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.
