The unit itself is solid, clean, comfortable bed, fully stocked, and having a washer/dryer was a big plus. It was also only about 8 minutes from where I needed to be every day, which was convenient. That’s about where the positives end.The biggest issue is the area. Getting there takes you through some pretty rough surroundings, and it doesn’t give a great first impression. It gets to the point where you don’t really want to stop anywhere nearby, especially at night. Hearing gunshots a couple nights after dark made that feeling worse. That was not something hinted at in the listing and it absolutely should have been.Mid-week they shut down the parking lot to paint it. There was a flyer on the door the day before, but no real alternative plan. I ended up having to park in a less ideal spot, which defeats the purpose of paying for a place with parking.Wi-Fi went out one night, and with Verizon there is basically no cell service inside the unit. So when the internet drops, you’re completely cut off, no calls or texts unless you go outside. That’s a pretty major issue, especially if you’re there for work. The walls are thin enough that you can hear the neighbor’s TV and coughing at night. The couch was also broken in the back with boards coming loose. On top of that, the thermostat is locked at 67, which gets cold fast with no way to adjust it.Overall, the unit itself is nice, but between the area and multiple inconveniences 3
