To start with the description is misleading- there is no porch and it's not a house, but a barn. There are three buildings on the property and I wasn't told which one was mine or how to enter- I ended up bugging the other person who lived on the property and she called the owner until she answered. I recently had to start using a walker so I had asked the host if there were stairs because I use a walker and she said it wouldn't be a problem. It was a HUGE problem. There are steps to get to the room, the kitchen and they were too tall for me. This needs to be stated in the description- or at least mentioned when I emailed and asked. I ended up leaving after one night to stay somewhere else. The host offered only excuses and refused to refund me any money. I paid for a week and stayed one night. Not only that but after we found a hotel- I came back for my stuff and she was parked in my spot taking pictures on the property This is not a space for anyone who is handicapped, older, uses a walker or wants to work with an upfront host.
