An above average experience in what could be a once in a lifetime time experience. Pros: Location, Building Amenities like gym, cafe, restaurants, access to beach etc Cons: A 125+ year old hotel functioning like its still stuck in the past. Needs major technological upgrades, better coffee machine in the room, dryers, toiletries. The first 2/3 days of my stay, I was not even given a key because their "system" was down. I had to take someone with me everywhere I needed to go like a child, so they can use their key to access. On day 2, around midnight, without any prior notice, all water was shut for hours, causing major issues for guests. The staff was mostly really pleasant to deal with. My highlight of the trip was Ms. Aliyah at the Trading Company Cafe in the hotel, she was unbelievably warm, kind and welcoming. She truly made me feel home and welcomed. She is a great barista but above all a good person who is very customer experience centric. So thank you for that.

The room was average and the bed was comfortable. The cleaning staff would not provide face cloths for some reason, I'm assuming they had a shortage. We had to call front desk to get them. The Woodes Rogers bar had nice ambiance and was very elegant. The price to rent a covered bed by the pool was insane, they wanted $150/day (even after we paid the $50/day resort fee). The staff was friendly, always said hello when we passed in the hall. The last night, they had a party on the second floor which was directly under our room on the third. The loud music and bass kept me up until 12:30. I complained and they refunded me $50 (one day's resort fee). We didnt eat at the hotel because the food is expensive. All in all, the hotel is average even though it looks amazing from the outside.

Very nice, good location It was different to see all the cruise ships. Dunkin across the street for coffee. The gym has water so bring a reusable bottle or you will be paying $13 at the cafe. Staff very nice and do a decent job of keeping the beach private. After after 12pm, people start slipping in, a little annoying. I would stay here again. Just be mindful food is expensive and everything closes around 5pm. Very laidback area.

Room was smaller than expected but staff was awesome, especially Antonia (I think that’s how she said it but the light skin girl with short hair) She really went out her way to make sure we were okay. And she is absolutely fabulous. Hotel was very cute, room service was so hardworking as well

The beach area was nice - it was not very big but there were not many people the week we went so it was perfect. The rooms were okay. We were first put in a room with a ‘city view’ which was a view of the busy street below. Dominique was nice enough to move us to a garden view. Everything at this hotel was expensive and we did not enjoy the brunch at all. We ate at other establishments during our stay. The door and room service staff were exceptionally nice. The front desk was okay.
