Forest Chalet with Private Bridge & Mountain View

A rare alpine hideaway surrounded by spruce forest, natural rocks and a mountain river, reached via a private bridge. Located at the foot of the Aletsch Glacier in Blatten bei Naters, less than 50 m from the ski piste leading to the main Blatten–Belalp lifts. The chalet offers spacious open-plan living with fireplace, terrace, balcony, and forest views. Fully equipped and ideal for families or groups seeking tranquility, privacy, and direct access to skiing and nature.

Our Forest Chalet:

Hidden in a spacious forest clearing, this unique chalet sits directly on rock and is surrounded by spruce forest, birdsong, and the sound of flowing water. The atmosphere is calm, private, and deeply connected to nature - a place for slow mornings, long ski days, and quiet evenings by the fire.

This is our second home. When it’s not welcoming guests, it’s where we come to slow down, reconnect with nature, and spend time simply being here. We hope our guests will enjoy the chalet in the same spirit and look after it with care and joy.

The chalet features a generous open-plan living and dining area with a fireplace and TV (Netflix streaming), ideal for gathering after a day outdoors. Wide windows and a south-west orientation bring light throughout the day.

Sleeping arrangements include:
• 2 master bedrooms upstairs
• 1 bedroom with two single beds upstairs
• 1 small single bedroom downstairs
• 1 separate studio room downstairs (ideal for work, reading, or a quiet retreat)

There are two bathrooms, a compact but fully equipped kitchen, and all essentials for longer stays, including laundry facilities and a dishwasher. Coffee lovers will appreciate the Moccamaster filtering machine. Upstairs, there is a common chill area for playing board games, reading books, or simply enjoying the present moment.

Outside, enjoy a large terrace or a grill area set beside a massive natural rock - perfect for relaxed outdoor meals surrounded by forest.

Location & access:

The chalet is located in Blatten bei Naters, at the foot of Belalp.
• Ski piste: ~50 m from the chalet (ski-in access via the Blatten runs)
• Parking: there are a number of public parking places in Blatten bei Naters. The closest one is approx. 150 m away, just on the crossroad of Chalet Barbara and Rischinu streets.
• Parking fee: CHF 5 / 24h (payable since Jan 2, 2026)

The short walk through the forest and over the private bridge is part of the experience - peaceful, scenic, and memorable.

Our chalet is ideal for guests who value nature, privacy, and character over resort-style accommodation. It is a genuine alpine home - warm, functional, and authentic.

The chalet is located in a natural alpine setting with rocky terrain and an unused swimming pool area, therefore we recommend supervising children when enjoying time outdoors.

Local Tourist Tax:

In accordance with the regulations of the municipality of Naters, a small local tourist tax of CHF 4.50 per person per night applies. Children aged 6–16 pay a reduced rate (CHF 2.25), and children under 6 are free.

As a guest of this chalet, you'll find a garden and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
