Magnificent Traditional Two-Storey House In The Heart Of Naxos
This house in the middle of Naxos is situated in the village Kaloxilos, very close to the west side of the island where the best beaches are located, as well as the picturesque villages of Chalki, Filoti and Apeiranthos. This 120 years old house is built and renovated with respect to the traditional local architecture.
It consists of the first floor, the second floor and a terrace. The first floor is comprised of a sitting room and a kitchen. In this floor there is also a sofa bed. The second floor is comprised of the main bedroom and the bathroom. The terrace and the balcony offer amazing views to the "Tragea" valley as well as breathtaking mountain and sunset views. The access to the terrace is available only by a folding ladder and a 50X70cm opening on the terrace

An authentic experience
We spent two wondeful weeks in this nice and newly renovated apartment at the heart of Naxos. The furniture is new and perfect for all our needs. The position is ideal to explore all the corners of the island (a bus stop is easily reachable but renting a car is probably the best option) and experience the slow and relaxed pace of Cycladic summer life. Our host Polyvios has been extremely nice and hospitable and always helpful whenever we had a question. He also provided us with a precious list of insider's suggestions about beaches, restaurants and interesting spots to visit. Whenever our hopping from island to island will lead us to Naxos we will definitely contact Polyvios again!
