The Hawk's Nest Cabin is nestled in the rolling hills of Southeast, Ohio while still remaining close to nearby restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The cabin boasts 3 comfortable bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a large living space, and a spacious kitchen. Traveling is a breeze when you stay with us as the lodge is fully equipped with great amenities. Property offers an outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and great quality time. State Parks, lakes, canoe & kayaking, ziplining and so much more all located within a short distance from the property.
Guests will follow forest covered, hilly back roads until they come to a charming neighborhood in the rolling hills where the Hawk’s Nest Cabin is located. Guests are welcomed by a beautifully manicured 7-acre property that is home to two additional cabins – the Eagle’s Landing Cabin and the Cozy Cabin. Guests can rent all three cabins for large group getaways! Following the long driveway straight back will take our guests to our rustic Hawk’s Nest Cabin nestled in the trees. Here, a delightful front porch with outdoor furniture and an additional covered outdoor space greets our guests. Guests can enjoy time outside having cookouts, eating around the picnic table, or relaxing in the warm Jacuzzi. The hot tub is located under a pavilion so our guests can enjoy it even when April showers or winter snowstorms come through! One of the best features of the outdoor space is the newly renovated gravel fire pit with Adirondack chairs, benches, tables, and a swing.
Our customers tell us they enjoy the overall property condition at this cabin. During your stay, you'll be close to Nelsonville Brick Park. A hot tub and laundry facilities are available. The cabin includes amenities such as free WiFi and a kitchen.

We recently stayed at this cabin and overall had a decent, mostly relaxing experience, though there were a few issues future guests should know about.Hot Tub:The hot tub was a bit disappointing. Only the vent jets worked, and the water never got very warm. It was around 30 degrees during our stay, so that may have played a part, but it still didn’t heat the way we expected.Check-In & Check-Out:Check-in was smooth and easy.Check-out was a little inconvenient because the store where we were supposed to drop off the key was locked—not open an hour before the official checkout time.Overall:Despite the issues, the cabin itself was cozy and relaxing. It gave us space to unwind, enjoy the quiet, and even dream about having our own cabin someday. With some repairs and more consistent maintenance, this place could easily become a great getaway spot.

This cabin was beautiful. Clean and cozy, with a nice kitchen. The setting was very peaceful and the fire pit and swing were lovely. The cabin is also handicapped accessible with a lot of nice features.

Cabin in the woods - Pets allowed

We had a nice stay and the layout and location of the cabin were excellent. The price was just fine and we were able to book short notice. We have a small dog, so we needed something that was pet friendly. The cabin looked clean, but smelled of animal urine through the duration. My guess is that many dogs have been through there. This may not be a big deal to many pet lovers, but was a bit much for us. We were staying a short time, so no reason to let it spoil our time. We tried to avoid the couch that smelled the worst and go enjoy the surrounding area. One thing of note is the hot tub is in rough shape. It is missing a headrest and another one was all warped and broken up. The cover is also worn and difficult to remove or replace. Not a deal breaker in summer heat for us, but something we noticed. Other than that, we really liked the place. The linens were clean and they offered Wi-Fi. The bathroom was nice and the AC blew cold. We enjoyed our time there, but will likely board our dog next time and opt for a property that does not allow pets. Overall 4/5!

Loved it!

Property was very clean, inside and out. Loved that the hot tub is under a roof to protect us from the rain. It is set back in the woods, so it's very private. Check in and out was super quick. We had absolutely no issues during our stay!

The cottage was adorable and very clean. Bedrooms were a good size and had plenty of beds to go around. Only complaint is the kitchen was REALLY small and the doors were a bit difficult to lock. Outdoor space was great, loved the the hot tub and fire pit. Would absolutely fo back!

Very quiet stay with our pets.

We had a very nice stay at hawk's nest over the weekend. The boys had the loft to themselves and my daughter had her own room which was perfect for them! They welcomed both our service animal and our family pet. It was quiet and secluded back in the driveway and there were deer and rabbits in the yard. It was a little bit crazy trying to check in. We had been driving for 5 hours in the rain and we're just ready to be stopped. And there was a large group in the deli trying to order food so we had to wait quite a while. Something that could not be helped. Obviously. The only other negative was we lost power for 2 hours but that was also no one's fault. There were a lot of storms and I believe a tree fell on the power lines. The only thing I would request is that emergency candles were placed somewhere in the cabin for things like this. Other than that it was a fantastic stay!

Family spring break

We had a great trip to Hocking Hills! The cabin was nice and had everything we needed. Loved the area around the fire pit. Only issues we had were the hot tub was cleaned the day we arrived so we were unable to use it the first night because the water temperature was too cold. We only spent 2 nights so it was unfortunate we only had the hot tub for 1 day. Also, the lights above the hot tub did not work which was a little disappointing. My kids were looking forward to being in the hot tub in the evening with the lights.
