The hotel is filled with pot smoke. It is next door to a strip club, there are no dead bolts on the door and a very flimsy sliding glass door ( half on ground floor). I did not feel like it was a safe place for my kids to stay. I didn’t want them breathing pot smoke all night. I was not given a refund once I saw the situation.

Just stayed 1 night- thankfully. Didn't realize the place was next to a strip club. Room was "spacious" as others have stated; but there isn't really anything in the room. Bed, couch (that I didnt feel comfortable sitting on), desk with 1 chair and only 1 nightstand. All the outlets were so shot that anything you plugged in fell right back out so you couldn't use it. Barebones, no frills whatsoever. Whole place smelled like stale cigarettes even tho there are a million signs stating "no smoking". A little update would go a long way.

They claim its Non smoking, but you cant get a room without that smell in it. I had no choice but to stay, everywhere else was booked. Walking down the hall you get a contact high from the weed and whatever else is being smoked. Room was old and tattered. Tv worked but the volume on it didnt, room 123. Also some creeps out looking in cars around 11:45pm.

It was good stay all the way around and the staff was good. The only thing that I would have a comment about is in the room they have the fake hardwood type of floors which looks nice but if you walked barefoot there was grit like stuff from probably not being swept. Also the sofa arm in the room was broken and loose a bit. It wasnt to big of a deal compared to the rest of the room which we liked alot.

Maddie at the front desk was extremely personable and tried to make our stay the best in every way. Very clean basic room comfortable bed and added plus a fridge and microwave. The pool looked clean and inviting unfortunately the weather wasn't a pool day. If you need anything additional all you need to do is ask. Coffee juice and cereal is available in the morning in the lobby. Would definitely do an overnight there again if I need to be in the area.

Photos and other reviews were misleading. This was not a very pleasant place to stay. While I appreciated having a patio, the plastic cup of cigarette butts on the patio was disgusting. There were holes in the curtains and the bedding. I did not receive any bath towels, only hand towels. There was a crack in the bathroom counter, and the tissue dispenser was boarded up. The refrigerator and the a/c unit both made weird noises throughout the night. This hotel could be amazing if they did a full remodel. Its location is perfect, only a 10-minute drive from the beaches and Asbury Park boardwalk, but the rooms are disappointing. Thankfully, I was only there one night. I would not have wanted to stay longer. I'm planning a longer trip to the area later this summer, but I certainly won't be staying here.

Extremely basic room, slow internet, tiniest bathroom amenities I’ve ever seen. Didn’t feel particularly ‘safe’ when I was told to make sure we close the door properly behind you when you leave. Tub drain wouldn’t keep water for a bath - front desk was useless in helping to find a solution.
