Here there is a so-called microclimate with approx. 320 sunny days a year thanks to the region being sheltered between two mountains. Here you can find everything from good food, culture and small hidden beaches as well as cozy mountain villages. The area offers beautiful nature where you can hike, cycle, climb, dive, etc. Nerja is also only 1.5 hours from the Sierra Nevada ski resort and one hour from the Alhambra, the most famous attraction in all of Andalucia. Just 15 minutes up in the mountains from Nerja is one of Spain’s most picturesque villages, Frigiliana.There are several nice golf courses nearby, the nearest 15 minutes away. You drive from Malaga Airport and on the highway E-15 in the direction of Almeria, Motril. Here follow the signs through the entire Malaga, you now have a 45-minute drive to Nerja2.
