Holiday flat in Vieregge with large garden

Vieregge manor house south-west wing This detached brick house with a large garden is situated 300 metres from the water in the quiet village of Vieregge (approx. 30 inhabitants) with views for miles on a side road with little traffic.
Terraces with garden loungers and chairs, large garden with various trees and fruit trees, berry bushes, shrubs, flower beds and lawns. The garden is largely enclosed by various hedges, but there is no fence. The garden is adjoined by almost 1 hectare of leased pasture, which is also available to guests and extends almost as far as the harbour village (beware of ticks!).
The entire house consists of a south-west wing and a west wing. The south-west wing consists of an old part (renovated in June 2021) and a new building (built in 2021 and completed in June 2021). It has its own entrance and is visually and acoustically separated from the other part of the house. The former manor house from 1870 (with older foundations) was restored in 2009 and 2010 according to monument protection aspects and is allergy-friendly. The bedrooms are partially plastered with clay and thus offer a better indoor climate. The entire house is centrally heated. The south-west wing is on the ground floor with a total of 5 rooms on 124 square metres: hallway, approx. 3 square metres, three bedrooms for 2 persons each together approx. 50 square metres, living room (conservatory) with the possibility of an extra bed for 2 to max. 4 further persons in the conservatory (27 square metres), dining room with kitchen and fireplace (26 m), 2 bathrooms (6+12 square metres). The 2nd bathroom has a separate toilet and a sauna (approx. 4 square metres), which can be used as a Finnish or bio sauna (bench over corner). Outside terraces on 2 sides (35 square metres) and garden access with private garden area. All rooms have garden/landscape view. Distance to the neighbour's house: approx. 30 metres.
The Bodden with harbour and small bathing area is approx. 300 metres away. Here it is possible to hire motorboats, store your own boat or enjoy the sunset in the harbour café. From the harbour it is three kilometres by boat across the Bodden to Breege, from there it is a good kilometre on foot to the Baltic Sea beach at Juliusruh. The steamer to Hiddensee passes by once a week. There is a very shallow beach about 200 metres further on (very good for small children, but not for long-distance swimmers). If you want both, we recommend the beach at the small harbour of Grubnow (with pedalo hire) about 2 km away. The Bodden is ideal for fishing, swimming, sailing or rowing and is not (yet) overcrowded. Vieregge is located on an island, which offers one of the most beautiful hiking areas on the Lidower Haken. The Grümbke observation tower offers a fantastic view (as far as Stralsund on a clear day), apart from the ancient church in Neuenkirchen. The nearest inn is a good 2 km away in Neuenkirchen, Trakehner stud farm Tribbevitz 5 km.
In Vieregge, not only foxes and hares say goodnight to each other, but also deer, which like to drop by the garden with their fawns - much to the annoyance of some flowers. There are also raccoon dogs, a fierce badger, wild boar, the obligatory cuckoo, various owls and songbirds, a vain pheasant with hens, as well as sea eagles and, depending on the season, cranes.
