The room/ cave was so cool to stayed there. The staff are very attentive and friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, many options to choose from very fresh and tasty.

Paid extra for a room with jacuzzi, they tried to give me a basic room, after complaining they then gave me a room with a jacuzzi without a view! Not impressed. The walk back from the town is uphill! At least 15min walk not ideal pushing a pram or with kids/ old people. Hotel breakfast was very good only reason I would give it a 3 star Clean the room around 3pm not ideal. Staff response is slow and poor I requested for my room to be cleaned in the morning and never happened until 3pm. It also would hurt to smile more.. The hotel is very very far from where the balloons take off difficult to see the balloons up close.. pictures on the site are very misleading I paid on the higher side for this hotel but sadly don’t believe it’s worth the money.

Everything about this cave hotel was incredible! The staff were extremely helpful and kind, the views were breathtaking, and the rooms were charming. It’s also conveniently within walking distance to town.

The room wasn't too clean nor nice but the area was good and the rooftop is I assume the selling point. However, there are are many other rooftops / cave hotels if room cleanliness is important to you. The staff is very friendly.

Very unique stay in a fairy chimney. A bit dark, could use more windows. They gave us alot of nice toiletries. Bed was comfy. The check in and out was great. Staff was wonderful and attentive. Let us have a late check out with no problem. Held our bags. Only negative was that they were always in the front outside table smoking. Felt like constant group hanging out on smoke breaks. Maybe do those somewhere in back or side where guests are not frequenting. Breakfast was awesome. Loved the food choices and attentive staff for coffee and tea. Small area inside and was too hot outside with not enough umbrellas so there would not be enough tables for everyone. Felt pressure to eat quickly to make room for people standing around. Hotel is at the top of town, not very many restaurants around have to walk into town to eat dinner. Not far just up and downhill so be prepared. Loved the rooftops and bar only complaint is when we went up for early morning to watch balloons cats were all over so pellows and rugs smelled really badly. These needed to be cleaned more regularly. Some had been clawed badly by the cats. Didnt look or seem as nice as what I had seen in pictures.

Disappointing Stay During a Special Occasion – Would Not Recommend We stayed at Divan Cave Hotel in Cappadocia for two nights to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, but unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. On the first night, the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working properly, it simply wouldn’t cool the room, the outside temperature was around 35°C. We called for help, and the staff member who came to check the AC seemed visibly irritated while trying to fix it. He insisted it was working even though the room temperature didn’t improve at all. We had to repeatedly tell him that it was still the same. Eventually, the lady at reception came and offered to provide fans for the night, promising to look into switching our room the next morning. But no one followed up the next day, and we were left to spend another hot night with a poorly functioning AC and just fans. It was difficult to sleep in that. To make matters worse, when we checked in, the fridge in the room was unplugged. We had drinks with us that we were hoping to enjoy during our anniversary celebration, but they were warm and took hours to cool after we plugged it in ourselves. Overall, for what was supposed to be a special and memorable stay, the lack of proper service and attention to guest comfort was really disappointing. We expected much better from this hotel and it’s unfortunate that this experience at Divan Cave Hotel ended up disappointing.
