This place is a good bang for your buck but there are many pros and cons to this place. ProsIt is clean, has a very soft bed and has a great view except for the treeConsThe cons are the host very rarely contacts you if you have issues. There is a sign that says you will be towed and I tried contacting the host to see if I needed a parking pass. It’s been 48 hours and I haven’t heard from her back ( you won’t get towed). The toilet wobbles and the sink was so clogged with hair and dirt that I had to go buy a hair remover from Walmart to unclog the sink. The next part is be very careful with the blinds when we first arrived there were blinds that already fell from the deck doors and they constantly fell off no matter how many times we tried to put them back on. The air conditioner is very loud it almost sounds like a bag is caught in the fan of it.Also make sure to bring a pair of earplugs because the neighbors are pretty loud stomping and jumping upstairsThe last thing is the bathroom door does not close or shut so hold the door while using the bathroom

Overall the place was nice. However, a couple of issues need to be addressed. the first and most important was the water. It smells like sulfur. The water actually stinks coming out of the shower and faucet. And NO water pressure in the shower. The other issue is that the screen door was NEVER on the tracks to open the balcony door, so we just left it where it was. The "waterfront" view....is nothing more than over looking an over flow catch pond next to the unit building parking lot. That to me is misleading. The area is a little sketchy as far as appearances go and parking lot lighting. It was a nice stay but unfortunately we probably would not go back.

Great stay. The apartment was classy. All new appliances. First time I used a clothes washer/dryer combo - worked fine. My wife and I closed on our new home today about a mile away and on the water. We love it.

We stay in the studio and we liked it! Everything was brand new inside, except the broken balcony door and the noisy AC! Cute and cozy, we recommend! Is fair from New Bern, but the price was good, the communication with the property manager was fantastic, Alana even let us to have a late check out, everything was well organized! Thank you!

New Bern Golf Weekend

This was advertised as 'on the water' - I was expecting to see the marina - there's just a pond behind the building, which was a little disappointing but nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay. This condo is similar to a hotel room, but much better. I mean, hotel rooms don't normally have a full size fridge and dishwasher! The condo was less than a five minute drive to Harbour Pointe Golf Course, where we played. Even the drive into New Bern proper was short and enjoyable. Once we figured out the TV (operator error) we were good to go! Communication with the owner was exceptional!

Mostly clean but odd smell

Mixed feelings about this one. We received all relevant check in information ahead of time. The photos were an accurate depiction of the condo and it had everything needed for a short stay. Very nice new finishes and clean, with the exception of the pullout mattress which had specks of dirt (or something) and a stain. Would recommend using a mattress cover and cleaners inspect after each stay. The reason for the overall rating was the very overwhelming and unpleasant smell in the condo. Overall, it was fine for a quick stopover but we would not stay here again.

Enjoyable stay

The room was well maintained and clean. The Fairfield Harbour community is a few miles from New Bern and required a drive to restaurants and stores. The setting was great as the room overlooked a pond with plenty of wild life to watch. We enjoyed our stay and New Bern.
