The house was super clean when we arrived. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. We loved the party cave in the garage.

The layout of the house was perfect for our family. Our kids enjoyed the yard and the location of the house was close to town. We were disappointed finding out the hot tub had broke a few weeks prior to us coming, however the host tried to accomidate us by putting a temporary hot tub in. The only negative thing i have to say was that when we vacuumed while there we picked up almost an entire full vacuum bin of long dog hair around the house, and the couch was not the couch in the pictures. It was also filled with a lot of dog hair, but we had access to the vacuum so it was fine. Overall it was a great stay for us regardless of some hiccups.

Unfortunately I would not book again

I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but I believe this will help the owner and the next person. The cleaning crew did not do a good job, and there are a few other reasons why we wouldn't book again. There were someone's dirty clothes in one of bedroom closet floors. (At first I thought...simple oversight...we just won't touch them or use that closet) Then we noticed our socks were covered in dog hair, like the previous people had a shedding dog and the floors weren't properly cleaned. :( We had to run to Walmart 15+ mins away as the house was missing a decent skillet, cutting board and we even bought pillows for each one of us staying as all pillows were flat. (Thankfully could buy/take home w/ us) Then my parents fitted sheet had dirty paw prints and grass on them, and the master fitted sheet had dog hair all over it ...so much so we had to wash them that night. Next morning the towels appeared dirty - some clearly from a muddy dog. We did send the booking agent photos, he did apologize and said he would refund the cleaning charges and be looking for a new cleaning crew. For next guests beware the neighbors big dogs near the master bedroom can bark for long periods in the night/early morning hours. Morning traffic is busy and can be heard as this house is on/near 2 major roads and the location is a bit too far from basic amenities like Walmart/Grocery Store if being close is important to you. Overall the house isn't bad, but due to the above...we would not book again.
