Uneasy environment
Needed a room fast for the day so booked a room here. The environment didn’t feel like the pictures display , my family, and I went to the front desk and asked to see the room before checking in while being escorted to the room some guest outside a few rooms down to where we were to be put that made us feel uneasy and we did not feel comfortable there and when we got back to the desk, I asked the lady at the desk. How do I go about refunding since I wasn’t going to be checking in she told me I had to go through hotels.com since that’s where I made the reservation I explained the situation to them. They called the place and stated that they had to get a hold of the manager. I followed up the next day with hotels.com customer support and evidently the hotel refused my request for the refund. I’m sorry, but if I or my family don’t feel safe in an environment. I am not going to stay. And for them not taking that consideration and refunding me just shows that it’s all about the money and no consideration for the customer. me being in corrections/law-enforcement you learn to read people and your surroundings. I’ve made a couple of calls since then requesting to speak to the property manager in which they weren’t available and still haven’t received a call back. I’m assumingThey have no intention of issuing my refund. Even though I never checked in. Maybe if the hotel sent some standards for their guest that are staying there this would’ve been way different review. Good luck.
