Great Family Vacation Spot.

My family’s first vacation together. We booked 3 rooms presidental suites. Very clean and has everything you need. We were all in the same building. Everyone had a blast and customer service was excellent. Miniature Golf is a must for anyone who stays here. We had a couple of rounds then watched the sunset. Truly the best vacation spot.

Checking in took forever. We got there around 6 pm and the line was so long… Like 15 families in line to get checked in waiting. Only a 2-3 clerks handling the guests. They should’ve done better on a spring break weekend. We went to dinner and then came back to check in. Then they gave us the very last room in the property villa 1 room 2. The most far away room from office. No parking on the side our room was located. We had to hike up and come down just to get to our room. Not good for older people. Bathroom had a few stains from age. It honestly for what we paid, compared to other places, it was a good deal, moneywise.

When we arrived we were assigned to an updated villa which was very nice , but when I saw it had no hot tub , I had to request a room change . This wasted at least an hour of time for everyone . I booked the room from online pics showing a hot tub , so that was my expectation ! Even though the villa's hot tub was older I appreciated having one . It is 1 of the reasons I come to a resort .I don't think the dishwasher was working properly . I did like the spacious feel of the entire villa . Enjoyed the patio , highway traffic was a bit annoying . Wish the golf courses were a little closer . Also some better movie channels would have been nice . We did enjoy our stay .

At check in we were put in the wrong room on Friday night. Then we were locked out of our room on Saturday afternoon and we could not get to our personal belongings. After spending 2 hours at the front desk they called me at 10:30 pm Saturday night to tell me they needed my credit card again.

Rocky start

The trip started on a rocky start. The bathroom door didn't lock n the refrigerator door would not close. The next day the stove wouldn't turn on.. they were quick in fixing the problems.

I recently stayed at Canyon Lake Hill Country Resort, and overall, it was a great experience. The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the lake and surrounding hills. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful retreat away from the city. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, offering all the basic amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. One of the highlights was the resort’s proximity to outdoor activities—whether it was hiking, fishing, or just enjoying the lake. The pool and other facilities were well-maintained, making it easy to unwind. The only downside was some minor cleaning in our second booking. Which was resolved right away, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. I would definitely recommend Canyon Lake Hill Country Resort to anyone looking for a quiet and scenic getaway in Texas Hill Country, this would be our 4th stay inside of 24 months.
