This historical 2-bedroom cottage sits next door to the main house, with a separate driveway and entrance, and four parking spots.

This peaceful retreat is on 2.5 acres with two ponds along the back of the property, an outdoor balcony upstairs for lounging or reading, and a huge covered porch downstairs with tables, chairs, and ceiling fans to keep cool.

The property is fully fenced in -- pets are welcome!

New Canaan Connecticut is located in Fairfield County, about 45 mins from New York City. Downtown New Canaan offers many shops and restaurants.

DETAILS:

High speed fiber internet, advanced water filtration system, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and extra large smart TV in the living room as well as in the lower bedroom. Automatic motion sensor exterior lighting around the property.

Central heating and air conditioning with thermostat on each level.

Pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils, silverware and other basics like condiments, salt/pepper, cooking oil, foil, saran wrap, baggies, and more are all provided. There is a fantastic coffee and espresso machine with sugar, sweetener, creamer, etc provided as well.

The cottage has three total levels:
The main level consists of a small parlor room, large living room with oversized couch, huge smart TV, desk and chair, mini-fridge, full bathroom, washer and dryer, and balcony overlooking pond and back yard.

Upstairs is a separate bedroom with king size bed and futon couch which folds out into a bed.

Downstairs is arranged as a 'studio apartment' with another sitting area and couch, king bed, smart TV, full bathroom, and small kitchen. Note that the lower level is an open floorplan without walls.

The lower level door opens to a large covered porch with ceiling fans, table, and chairs, overlooking 2.5 acres.
