am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the appalling experience I endured during my recent stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites, Harrisburg PA, on Friday, April [insert exact date]. I had booked a King Bed Room for two nights through Expedia well in advance and drove seven hours from Toronto, Canada, expecting a comfortable and stress-free stay. To my shock, upon arrival, the hotel staff informed me that only a double bed room was available, despite my confirmed reservation for a King Bed. This was completely unacceptable. I calmly explained the situation and requested a solution, yet I was met with indifference and told there were no other rooms available. When I insisted on waiting in the reception area for a resolution, I was told I could not sit there and was threatened with police involvement if I did not leave. Shockingly, the hotel called the police on me, despite my peaceful behavior and legitimate complaint. Only after the police arrived did I agree—under pressure—to accept the incorrect room on the condition that I would be transferred to a King room the following morning if one became available. What happened next was even more appalling. In an effort to make the best of a bad situation, I attempted to push the two beds together to mimic a King-size bed—only to discover a filthy, dust-covered area beneath the beds. It was obvious the room had not been vacuumed or cleaned for a long time, indicating serious neglect of basic hygiene standards. I immediately

Non refundable so double check when booking

Being cold winter night on the road we decided to stay at a hotel with pool . Pool is under renovation and still advertised on Hotels .com . Room had smelly washroom and front desk does not have room spray or freshener or odor control. The Night table between beds has a top drawer base torn and broken. Small glass bits still around the area maybe not cleaned from past. Breakfast scrambled eggs were too rubbery and probably not natural or fresh eggs. Front desk offered to change the room as it was non refundable but we were too tired and was mainly for the night .
