A bog standard business hotel, charmless but functional. Some considerations: the bed was made up of a duvet between two sheets, which doesn't feel particularly sanitary. The sink in my room leaked water all over the counter and floor. The blinds in the room didn't go up so I received no natural light in the room. Staff are friendly and check-in/out was a breeze.

Dirty and Smoke Smell

Stay here many times the past 2-3 years and this is the worst. Hotel is non-smoking facility but entire hallway smell like weed. Hotel front desk gaslight customer to deny smell is strong until pressed and admit smell is there. Refused to change room and do not enforce their own non-smoking policy. Smell came back about two hours later. Requested to have room away from the night club and staff arrange room facing the club. Cannot sleep much due to noise issues. Room dirty and found used tissue between bed and night stand. If housekeeping missed that, not sure what else they would skip over. Alarm clock was not turned off/reset and woke everyone up at 6:00 am on Saturday.

Great location.

We visited New Haven to do at campus tour at Yale. It was very close to the University. There were a lot of restaurants nearby. It was only a few minutes ride to the Amtrak station.

I loved our stay at this hotel! We came in for a night to attend an event in the area and were very pleased by how close the parking is, the cleanliness and appointment in the room, and the swanky lobby! Nice convenient hotel if you are visiting Yale University. The hotel parking is $24/day which was taken out from safety deposit.
