I’m stalk my stay was fine. But did notice the room was a little stuffy so I went and bought a candle and from there it was fine. My fellow guest on my floor were loud at odd hours of the night but overall the stay was fine. I didn’t too much care for the bed. It felt like there was a mattress topper on there that I didn’t particularly care for.

The room we were first given was not cleaned. We were quickly swapped to another room, which was great. Overall, we had a nice stay. I will say that I noticed every time we went to the front desk (to check in, to go back about our room not being cleaned, and to check out) each person working the front desk was on their phone and did not acknowledge us until I spoke. This happened 3 separate times, with 3 separate people. Not great service, but also not horrible.

The hotel itself was good. The location is odd to get to. The general area, feel, and some of the other guests were pretty sketchy. We didn't have any issues and our one night stay while passing through was fine, especially for the price, but I was a little worried.

Decent hotel

Overall this was a good hotel and close to the Pepperplex where we had softball tournament. Front desk/ check in was smooth and lady was very friendly. Place is a bit dated. Kind of a musty smell throughout. Elevator broke the 2nd night we were there and we had to carry all luggage down from 3rd floor to check out. Not their fault but very inconvenient. Breakfast was about what you expect... nothing fancy. I would probably stay here again.

Great Value for Price

We enjoyed our stay overall. The service was excellent, and we liked the complimentary cookies at the front desk. The only serious issue we could potentially see is the pool being closed. Keep this in mind if you are counting on having pool time on your vacation.

Solid hotel for the value.

Pleasantly surprised at the service. Front desk lady was nice, efficient and loved her job. I would go back from her efforts alone. The only negative was the pungent smell of weed in the elevator and hallways. Not sure much can be done about that. Solid stay.

Decent hotel-convenient location-subpar staff

Pretty sure the staff was smoking marijuana behind the front desk. Staff refused to provide extra sheets and blankets even though none were provided in a room with a sofa bed. Breakfast was good - not many hot options. Rooms and hallways were incredibly muggy. Almost as if windows had been left open, despite none of the windows being able to be opened. Invest in some dehumidifiers! Fixtures were mangled - as if they had been chewed (?) and some were rusty. Also a result of the ridiculous humidity. I get it - it’s southern LA - but there are ways to mitigate it!

The staff was wonderful and very nice. Housekeeping had dropped the ball and forgot to clean out room on a fully booked hotel so the front desk lady went to clean it herself. Other than that little mishap, our stay was perfect. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and smelt good. The were lots of outlets in the room for chargers. Lots of options for breakfast. The hotel is renovated and very nice. Overall our experience was great and we would definitely stay there again.
