At check in staff very friendly. Went to room in bathroom there was approximately an 8 inch streak of shampoo or conditioner on the back portion of the tub. The floor in the bathroom was dirty. They put me in a new room which a staff member checked out before I went up there. When I went to the room there were small black pieces on the floor as well as hair. Running my shoe against the floor I could make a small pile of debris. On the desk there were dried smears of food. Went to front desk and they sent housekeeping to the room. She swept the floor first. Did not use a dustpan, swept the debris into the hall. After that she mopped the floors. She also wiped off all of the surfaces and the dried food streaks cleaned up readily. When I was going to bed the first queen bed had about 6 black hairs 2-3 inches long on the sheets. My hair is blonde. I then looked at the second bed and it looked fine. When checking out I discussed the bed and sweeping debris into the hall with the front desk person. There was not an I’m sorry. Just looked at my reservation and said there’s nothing I can do as you booked through a third party. She said that she would let her manager know. I wasn’t expecting compensation, but do think an apology would have been nice.

This was one of the MOST cleanest, and friendliest staff hotel I've visited in a while. The clean smell hit you as you walked in and traveling to my room you can smell the fresh scent carpet. My husband and I, along with the rest of my family who stayed there were VERY pleased!!!. This was my first time staying here, but will not be my last!!. Most definitely will recommend my out of town family to stay here when they come to town.

Overall the stay was ok ,But when first checking in you had to pay a 50$ deposit at the front desk in order to get your room key. I didn’t know that cause it wasn’t mentioned on the website, An by me being from alabama goin to new orleans. I brought cash only cause its to much scamming thru cards, So i had to do a little back & fwd cause i couldn’t use Apple pay either had to do a physical card.But lucky walmart was literally right up the street so i was able to get a prepaid card & upload the money to it. Kept the card with me the whole time cause Yes you will need it for parking uptown! BUT THE ROOM ITS SELF WAS RELAXING
