There was a laundry list of things that were wrong with the room and yes, the breakfast was horrible, but the staff were excellent!! For the first three mornings came down with a list of things that needed to be fixed and by the time we got back that night, most of them were fixed, except for the fire alarm situation that took about three days..

Had some issues with door lock but front desk with blond afro was so apologetic and helpful. All staff had great attitudes. There was no housekeeping for 3 days but I think for price and location—cannot beat it. 4 stars and would come again

Great facility with great customer service from the staff. The only thing that could be better is that the floors be swept more. Other than that everything else was clean. It was quiet and safe.

Let me start by saying the staff are very friendly. I wish I could have staff like that at every hotel I stay. The General Manager, Ke'vin and I'm not sure of the overnight lady name but they were all nice. However I did have some issues. Two nights I came in my room and found cockroachs. Not expected from a Marriott brand. Ke'vin came up in my room like an exterminator and killed it. She moved me to another room after the second time. My microwave sounded as if it was going to blow up. Breakfast wasn't what I would have expected in New Orleans. They had eggs, cheese, and chorizo empanadas. The manager insisted I try it was not anything I would eat. The elevator worked but when it closed it was scary. The rooms were supposed to be remodeled but it was just ok. I wouldn't stay there again.
