Great location. Parking is a block and a half away. Parking is also $45 per nigh, unless there is a "special event" thrn it is $65 per night. When I checked in, I was tolded it was $45 per night, then when I checked my account I was not given a full refund on my deposit. I called the hotel, and that's when I discovered that January 2nd is a special event day, because of the New Year holiday. Room was decent, except for the dirty shirt that was left in the corner from a previous guest. There is a Keurig in the room, but there was no coffee, cups, or anything to go with it. No wash clothes in the bathroom. Made the front desk aware of the issues with the room. I did get coffee and stuff for it. They were still out of wash clothes, did not get any for the 2 nights we stayed, but atleast we had towels. She also said she would notify housekeeping about the shirt being left behind. The breakfast was good and the lady serving was pleasant. This really can be a nice property. I really hope I just caught them on an of time. Best Western properties are usually great to stay at. This experience was just a let down.

I had chose pay at hotel when booking…2 days before check in I was charged for half of my stay…I use a different card at check in time when travelling and that is why I chose pay at hotel. Upon check in….I was informed that parking was going to be double what I was quoted online and during a phone call to them because it was New Years Eve. The gentleman who started to check me in continually answered the phone and went away from the desk to help the people on phone instead of completing my check in. once we finally parked the car (several blocks away), we get to room. The room had brick walls and had a nice esthetic to it. However the whole room smelled of cigars. Called the desk to ask if it was a smoking room because the smell was horrible. They offered no solution other than no, it is non smoking. Upon going into the restroom, only a half roll of toilet paper…used the restroom and it would not flush..tried to see what issue was and the tank was empty…had to fill it up with ice bucket and water from tub (which had things coming out of faucet) to get it to flush…worked later and then stopped working. Decided to wait til morning as it was late, to call down to desk again. Bed was comfortable, however you could hear every noise from the hall. The next morning toilet again did not work and called downstairs. They said nobody is there til 9 to fix it. Once it hit 9, they did come fix it promptly and it worked. Convenient location but would not stay again.

If I could give this hotel negative stars I would! It took more than 45 minutes to check in to the hotel. There was not adequate staff present to help customers. The hotel had a 6 hour period without water, the staff was not friendly or apologetic, check out time was supposed to be 11 am but there was a fire alarm pulled and the hotel had to be evacuated before 10:30 am!!

We enjoyed our stay at the St. Christopher. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The location was great, it was easy to walk around the French Quarter.The room was comfortable and we loved the 24 hour coffee machine. Be aware that the parking garage is a few blocks away, not on site. We would stay here again.

The tub was clogged when we arrived. The water in the shower did not get hot. The room floor was not level, noticeably, so it felt like walking down an incline. Parking is terrible. They charge you $45/night and you have to walk two blocks to park. The staff was nice.
