Growing up in South Louisiana, my wife and I have very fond memories of New Orleans, particularly our rides on the streetcars and bringing our children to Audubon Park and Zoo. So, when we found ourselves needing to spend time with two of our youngest grandkids in New Orleans over an Easter weekend, we wanted to make it special! This home was perfect for doing so! With an historical feel and a short walk to the park, zoo, and the St. Charles streetcar, we were able to share our experiences and relax while the kids made memories of their own! There was even a basilica within walking distance for our Easter Mass! We got an early check-in and a late checkout from a host who was always just a “message”. The area is safe, walkable, and convenient. It was a great stay!
