Stayed here one night with my husband and 5 kids as were were traveling. Booked two rooms which were comfortable and roomy. Went downstairs and got hurricanes from the bar for my husband and I and they were amazing! Breakfast in the morning was by far the best hotel breakfast we have ever had!!!!

Property was ok. The pictures of the balcony are very misleading. Unfortunately the pool was not available when I checked in, although this was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. More than likely would not stay here again. Breakfast was horrible as well.

The courtyard with its trompe l'oeil walls was fabulous. We enjoyed our made to order omelettes there in the morning and the happy hour there in the afternoon. The staff was welcoming, the room was clean, and the king bed very comfortable. It's only a ten minute walk to the WW2 museum, where one should spend the whole day. It's a longer walk to the streetcars, but they'll take you all over and are fun to ride and super cheap for seniors. If you don't like the craziness of the French Quarter, this is a great hotel choice.
