I would not stay again

The water were cold, not enough small towel’s were clean for the next day, the carpet in hallway were very dirty, the ice machine were down on the 3rd floor, whole building need to be remodeled badly.

Stayed here to attend the Sugar Bowl game. Had to extend our stay due to the NYE tragedy. Hotel was very accommodating and staff was friendly. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Would stay here again.

I think Hotels.com has their ratings wrong on this one. It was very nice, clean, comfortable and I would recommend it to everyone. It is out of the way for restaurants but still worth the stay.

The place is ok but it needs renovation the carpet is so dirty and smells so bad, the couch in the room is so stained dirty let alone to seat I can’t even look at it. Morning breakfast needs improvement there is not much or choices while paying. The staff is nice and very friendly. The environment is quite and safe which I like, so honestly this place can do better if managed well by renovating and higher service like breakfast and better food.

The stay was decent, I will say yes we would come back again IF need be. The place is very outdated, with a little TLC it would be 5 star ratings. There may not be enough people on the cleaning staff, we only received clean towels once, The beds were never made up that means no clean sheets were provided. The place was clean just smelled of hospital cleaning products but it was clean. The hotel is down the street from all kinds of food places and a few places are 24 hours. The lakefront was a nice scenery and a nice walk. The French Quarters are just a 20 min ride from the hotel. It was worth the money, the overall appearance of the hotel just needs a little love for tha WOW affect, if thats what your seeking.

Do not stay here or go through expedia. The guy at the front desk charged the card 5 times after I told him not to. Then the room he gave me and my 4 kids was caving in, literally. I have pictures. This hotel should not be open. The 2nd room he gave me wasn't any better. The room was slanting in to the point the drawers opened by themselves. Then this was supposedly a suite, and the fridge didn’t work nor did the phone. Worst place I've ever stayed. Then expedia charged my card when i opted for pay at property. NEVER AGAIN!!

Lobby was nice but hotel rooms were awful! Smelled bad and plumbing issues. Shower did not drain properly and there was no hot water - maintenance was called by hotel receptionist several times before anyone came. It took about 4 hours after checking before any hot water came out of shower but bathroom Sink never did have hot water

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the staff was friendly and the location was convenient, the hotel itself is quite dated and urgently in need of renovations. The décor, furniture, and amenities all show significant wear and tear, making the overall experience feel less comfortable than expected. The rooms, while clean, had outdated furnishings, worn carpets, pillows, sheets, towels and an old-fashioned bathroom that could benefit from modernization. Some of the facilities, such as the elevators and air conditioning, seemed inefficient or in need of maintenance. Additionally, the common areas lacked the fresh and inviting atmosphere that you would expect from a well-maintained hotel. With some updates and renovations, this hotel could be a much better experience for guests. Until then, it may not be the best option for travelers looking for a modern and comfortable stay. The two black kitties outside are so adorable and nice! Do not get rid of those cats, please!

I stayed here because it was conveniently located next to the Ponchatrain Center. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room smelled of stale carpet and cleaning supplies but at least it was clean. I didn't stay in the room much so I didn't need much. There was a Keurig, microwave, a mini fridge in the room which is great for a longer stay. There was hot coffee in the lobby!!! While the room needs some updating it wasn't bad and I will stay again.
