Hotel stay at Villa Conveto was great. We loved the hotel. The rooms were good, clean. Beds & pillows were comfy. Courtyard was pleasant. Everything was so beautiful! Very friendly staff at check in and check out!! A great location. Areas for improvement -- the locks on our doors did not seem secure, chain lock was flimsy. No bolt in our room. The paint was peeling in the bathroom ceiling. Heard it's going to be renovated soon and hope they keep the uniqueness, & old charm& character.

It was such a lovely trip and a pleasure to stay at Convento. The staff, all members, were very kind and friendly. I thought the beds were great! And the room very clean. Easy walking around the quarter.

The hotel is in the French Quarter, so it is an old building. It has some paint pealing from the ceilings and walls, and the floor creeks. The two-person elevator is very slow. However, the staff is great and loction is good - far enough away from the craziness of Bourbon street, but close enough to enjoy the entire Quarter. There is a cafe across the street for breakfast coffee and resturants 2-3 minutes stroll away.

So cute. So quiet. So spooky! I loved it. I had a room with a balcony and I totally recommend it. People watching after spending all day running around the Quarter was perfect on the balcony. It’s an old building so don’t expect all the modern amenities of, say, a usb port. But I think the charm of the hotel is in the fact that it’s old and holds so much history within its walls. The room was clean. The bed was comfy. I would have loved fluffier pillows (I have a bad back) but other than that I had a lovely stay.

The room was extremely comfortable and quiet. Water pressure and hot water were great (always a consideration in the French Quarter). Wonderful location for our favorite restaurants and the Riverfront Streetcar.

Location, Location, right in the French Quarter, easy walking distance to the street cars and the French Market. Beignets at café du monde a must. It is obviously an older building but inside is well appointed and clean. Took us a few minutes to find our room so a small location map would be appreciated. Free limited safe parking a short 5 - 10 minute walk.

The hotel is in the best location close to everything the French Quarter has to offer. Super friendly staff. Very clean rooms and comfy beds. I would def stay again. The absolutely only thing I would change would be the toilet paper it’s harsh so bring your own.

Lovely old hotel in the French Quarter. Booked ant the last minute in NYE due to travel delay. Our room was small but very clean, nicely furnished, and the balcony gave us a great view! Staff was very friendly and efficient—would definitely stay here again!

The complimentary coffee was amazing. The staff always greeted us with a smile and conversation. Loved the quiet little courtyard. It was far enough from the main Bourbon street noise but convenient enough to walk everywhere. I would definitely stay there again.

What a nice hidden gem! The nostalgia. The friendly staff. The location. The super comfortable bed. The history. All for an unbelievable price. If you are looking for a large room with crap you don’t need the spend $400 more per night. But if you want all the charms I of Old New Orleans, this is the place. Did I mention the outstanding and friendly staff? Shut up and take my money!!! While leaving plenty for the overpriced cocktails and the local watering holes. Enjoy.
