The Property Managers from Historic Getaways were great and did what they could to make our stay more enjoyable. They get a five star.We did not feel the cottage was fairly represented. When we arrived, we found only three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the reasons we rented this particular cottage was because it had three bathrooms. We contacted the Property Managers and they said the other bedroom was being used by the owner. They said the owner would be out by noon the next day. The room was empty and cleaned by the next day. However, we were not happy that the door to that room only locked from the inside, which meant that the person in that room had access to all of our personal belongings when we were not there.The footage was well worn, and did not look clean and bright as depicted in the photos. There were no dressers in the bedroom!! The bedrooms did have a rod screwed into the wall to hang clothes, but there were no closets. Since there were no dressers, you had to use the mattress of the unused bed as a dresser. There was not a standard size dining table. There was a small table in the kitchen that four people could eat at. There were only three cocktail glasses in the cupboard. Historic Getaways did bring us three additional glasses, two more chairs and robes that were listed in the amenities but were not in the cottage. There were wooden floors in a lot of the rooms and bathrooms. These floors were quite old and some planlks had gaps.
