I’ve stayed at La Quintas before so I knew what expect. However this hotel is awful! My room has no phone, no toilet paper holder, no fridge, very outdated and over not in great condition. When asked about these things I was told that some rooms are “under renovation”. I asked for 2 extra pillows and 1 blanket and the lady at the front desk working the night shift was extremely rude and told me the hotel had no extras! When I called the front desk first thing in the morning (from my own phone) to ask to speak to a manager, the lady who answered was a manager. I figured I could just explain everything to her and she would be understanding instead of notifying corporate. Well that got me no where. She proceeded to tell me it was my fault because I never asked to switch rooms at 9 p.m with children and that this was my fault. When I asked how this is my fault I don’t work there she proceeded to yell at me and told me to stop cutting her off. I eventually said this conversation is getting no where she agreed and hung up the phone. With any luck this hotel records phone calls! I do not recommend to ever stay in this hotel even if your expectations are low!

Room door had no second lock on front door. Adjoining room on other side had a lock but our door didn’t even have a lock assembly were if adjoining room opened there door they could see into ours. We had to put a chair in front of it to make sure no one could open it.

My room was dirty and old you could tell it had not been cleaned. It was eye lashes on the floor and no tissue in bathroom. The phone didn't work for me to call front desk and get another room but I didn't even want one due to the nature of how dirty the room was and smelled. The pictures on the website didn't look anything like the room I was in. I wouldn't stay here again and what made it worse I was in middle of traveling and was very tired but I couldn't rest because of it.

Disaster at New Orleans

In short- avoid this place. Broken doors, dirty walls, no towels in the room, no hair dryer. I doubt they ever vacuumed rooms either. The door to our room would not shut. Back door to breakfast/ reception area wouldn't open even with hotel key. And what is worse-the staff could care less about any of that.

Broken down, filthy hotel!!

It was the filthiest, broken down place we have ever stayed. We deserve our money back. The last two LaQuinta’s were wonderful but this was a joke. We all slept in our clothes! Towel racks broken, 1/2roll of toilet paper, pictures to prove it. Floor was not swept. Lamps broken, filthy tub. We would not bathe here. Too much to say!!!!
