This was a nice hotel and in a great location. It’s not really a hotel for kids. The pool is taken over by DJ parties everyday so it’s not really able to be enjoyed by kids or adults who don’t want extremely loud music. If you aren’t interested in hanging at the pool, I would recommend.

The NOPSI was great. The corner suite was outstanding. I loved the soaking tub. The concierge was very courteous and helpful. The Above The Grid Bar was a great place to sit and relax while having a drink. If I come back to New Orleans I will stay here again.

Friendly staff, nice room. Good value

First of all, frontdesk, bar, bellboy.. all staff members are good people, friendly and helpful. They make the hotel a great place to be at. We had no major complaints, good value and nice to stay here. If we want to pick something out, we would have liked two more towels in the room. We had a small issue with the toilet, fixed in 10 mins, keep in mind it's an older building, the rooms and furnishings are stylish and certainly not outdated. Carpets in good shape. You will be able to find a ding or dent, all in all well maintained and nice style. We will certainly come back!

I had a wonderful stay at the NOPSI for the first week of Jazz Fest. The hotel is lovely and has an interesting history as the place where people went to pay their electric bills. I loved the historic lobby. Kevin, the man at the door, knew so much about the history of the neighborhood! The staff members at the front desk were so friendly, helpful, and kind! The rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed. Hotel staff is very responsive to requests. Good water pressure, nice towels, and a fridge for those leftovers from the excellent restaurants in the area. The on-site restaurant and bar (with coffee drinks in the morning) were good. The rooftop pool was a delightful place to cool off. The NOPSI is a short walk to the French Quarter and excellent restaurants in the CBD. We walked about 6 blocks to and from the Jazz Fest shuttle, and felt safe along the way in both day and night times. I will definitely return to the NOPSI. I'm so glad I found this hotel in New Orleans!

Wonderful stay but the hotel rooms is in need of a few upgrades. My mattress leaned to the left and the carpet was old in my suite.
