If dates you want are blocked please message me anyway. I block out dates for myself as it is my home. But my dates are often flexible. For example you may see an entire month blocked out because I am there for a week. In such situations I may be willing to forgo that week myself to open the month back up.

Nicknamed 'The Smile House' due to its unique front of the house that gives the appearance of a smiling face.

This 1500 square foot historic home is located in the heart of the Marigny Triangle, only 3 blocks from the French Quarter and Bourbon St. And only 1 block from the music filled Frenchman St.

The kitchen has custom made cabinets with marble counter tops and a unique pot sink. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your culinary needs to keep you busy during your vacation whether you are just looking to make a quick breakfast or if you are serving dinner for eight! Small courtyard in rear of house.

Enter the home into a sitting greeting/living room with a welcome desk, recliner and couch.. Sitting room opens into first main room(can also be used as a living room) and a pull out couch with queen size mattress. 2 recliners, electric fireplace insert, 32' flat screen TV, Ipod dock w CD player. Next you will find the amazing updated eat in kitchen w table seating for 8, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker,etc..

Off kitchen is laundry room, 2nd bedroom and bath. The bath features a just updated walk in shower stall. 2nd bedroom has 2 FULL size beds with linens, large dresser and a TV.

Also off the entry sitting room is the master suite. Suite has a living room and bedroom open to each other. Lliving room with Day bed which has 2 TWIN size mattresses., Ipod dock w CD player.The Master bedroom features a large armoire, QUEEN sized Tempur-Pedic bed w linens, Chaise Lounge, 37' flat screen TV w DVD. Off the master bedroom is master bath including: Whirlpool Bathtub, separate shower w jets for 2.
ON DEMAND water heater. This means you will never run out of hot water no mater how many people are taking showers!

House features 12 foot high ceilings, original wide planked wooden floors, tile floors in kitchen and baths, tons of natural lighting, exposed brick chimneys, and much more.

The home is great for families and groups of all lifestyles. The neighborhood is friendly and accommodating to all, host to many local bars and restaurants for all tastes and styles. The home is non-smoking, but smoking is permitted outside in courtyard.

An Unforgettable 30-Day Stay in the Marigny I spent 30 incredible days at Jesse’s VRBO in New Orleans, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better place! Jesse, as a host, was absolutely magnificent in every aspect. I opted for weekly cleanings, and the cleaner he arranged was second to none—top-tier service every time.As someone native to the area, I felt like I was truly “welcomed home.” Jesse and his team deserve every accolade. Their kindness extended not just to me but also to my service animal, Lillie. They treated her like part of the family, exactly as she should be! In short: five stars everywhere—hosting, home, and heart. I can’t praise Jesse and his home enough!

Great Experience, Great Place to Stay!

Recently visited NOLA for a long weekend with friends and family and loved staying in the smile house. I would definitely contact Jesse again if coming down to visit. The house is very well done, and there is plenty of room and amenities. Walking distance to everything you need, getting to and from Bourbon street is super easy.

Perfect for our bachelorette party. Two blocks from Frenchmen street and only a few blocks from bourbon. Very safe. Everything was very nice and tidy inside. Very nice bathrooms! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Amazing time

We stayed here for a bachelor party really enjoyed our stay at the Smile House. We arrived and the house was very clean and no problems at all. The house is beautiful and in walking distance or a 5-10 minute Uber to almost everything. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone!

Wonderful

We absolutely loved staying at the smile house. It was in the perfect location, close enough to the French quarter to walk to Bourbon and Frenchman, but a bit away from the craziness when you want to get away. Jesse was a very accommodating host with check in and check out and the house was perfect for 8 girls to stay comfortably. We hope to come back!

Perfect place to stay!

Well-appointed, lots of sleeping room, terrific location. Jesse is a great host, very laid back and responsive to anything you might need. Parking on the street was difficult at times. Loved the kitchen area. Perfect for our bridesmaids reunion (circa 1991)!

Location, Location, Location!

The house was gorgeous and comfortable, but we barely spent much time there. French Quarter is all walk-able, with the heart of Frenchman right around the corner.

We had a bachelorette party here and we had a great time. The tempurpedic bed was great. 10-15 minute walk to bourbon street. You have to check out the Ruby Slipper and Horn's that are just a block away. Would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future.

Stayed here for two nights. Location is just far enough to be away from the New Orleans night scene but close enough for a short walk to the french quarter or the french market area. House was well stocked with everything you may need away from home. Nice size Kitchen and the master suite is really nice too. We will difinately stay there again.

Fantastic House!!

Me and a group of five friends stayed at the Smile House, Everything was very well maintained and comfortable. We were very impressed and it is really quite close to everything you could want to do, medium walk or a short cab to get almost anywhere. I especially liked the master bathroom and the kitchen!! We will defiantly be back!

Girls weekend

We had 6 ladies stay for a long weekend at the Smile House. It was a great time, lots of room for everyone, walking distance to everything. We would stay here again! The only suggestions we had, were cushions or padded kitchen chairs, when we were at the house that is where most of us were, and a couple small throw blankets for the few that are chilly all the time.

Beautiful Home!

I would definitely recommend this home for a weekend get away to New Orleans, the house is gorgeous! Everything was so clean and equipped with anything that you may need. The master bathroom and it's shower is so spacious along with the rest of the house which decorated beautifully. The walk to bourbon street and the French Quarter isn't bad at all. I would definitely stay here again if I made another trip to New Orleans.

Awesome Place & Great Host!

Jesse was a great, hospitable host! The location was amazing, perfect for walking to popular NOLA spots. Kitchen was stocked and beds were cozy. There was even condiments and beverages for us to get started. The house was beautiful, definitely a representation of classic NOLA architecture. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Smile House and would recommend it to others! Bonus points for the trundle bed.

Bachelorette Weekend

We stayed at the smile house for 4 days for a bachelorette party. Jesse is awesome! He is very accommodating and quick to respond to emails. The house is amazing and very spacious. We had 7 ladies and there was plenty of room for everyone. House is very close to the french quarter and we walked everywhere. Cute restaurants nearby too!

Perfect place for a Bachelorette Party

Our group had 9 girls and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The house is super close to Frenchman Street nightlife and a 10-15 minute walk to Bourbon Street. Even though the house is walking distance to the action, its in a quite residential area. The area always felt safe to us. I would highly recommend this house to other visitors.

We love this place! you won't be disappointed!

Another fabulous stay at the Smile House. Perfectly situated, close to Frenchman and easy walk to the quarter. Well stocked with everything you could need. The owner is responsive if questions arise or you just need recommendations. The house is beautiful, very spacious and well appointed. There have been a few additions to the neighborhood since our last stay. A great wine store just a few blocks away and The Ruby slipper, a stones trow away. We'll be back!
