The room was not ready at check in. The outside appearance of the hotel was nice but the room was extremely small, had about a half a sink, the carpet was dirty, and that halls leading to the room was creepy. Dirty hallway floors some doors of the rooms were broken. Front desk staff were very nice and tried to be as accommodating as possible. Will never go back it did not live up to the Omni brand.

(I’m local for what it’s worth)….The Check in Staff was extremely nice. The rooms are very small and fairly outdated for a hotel being right in the heart of the Quarter. Basically it’s just time for a refresh, esp the bathrooms. The Rib Room Restaurant located inside of the hotel is one of the best in the city. You can’t go wrong there. Very well known for their Prime Rib. One of the elevators was down and a 2nd was working on and off. Having only 1 elevator for this property was a challenge to say the least. Location wise you are right in the middle of the Quarter.

We stay here often, was a little disappointed in that we had multiple rooms and everyone said that the rooms were warm even though we set the temperature low, and there was only one elevator working which took forever to get up and down!!!

The location cant be beat- walkable to everywhere in the french quarter. This is a historic building which is lovely, but comes with some quirks... small bathroom- ie: no shelves for all my toiletries (pedestal sink). Everything was under construction - the lobby, the pool, the gym - better to come back in 2026 when the renovations are done :(

Good location. Very friendly staff. Problem was there was only one "working" elevator and even that one was out half the time, so when it was working didn't feel comfortable using it.
