The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. I arrived at about 8.00 am after a night flight during which I got little or no sleep. I mentioned this at the Front Desk and the lady there managed to get me into my room at 11.00 am. I really appreciated that.

The hotel's location was excellent. Although I expected it to be somewhat old due to the historically old hotel, the lobby actually looked very luxurious and was excellent. However, the overall cleanliness of the room was not satisfactory, and the furniture and TV seemed to need an upgrade due to their age. And the issue of staff kindness varies from person to person, but we were briefly staying in the lobby, and one staff member, unaware that we were hotel guests, said it was a place where only hotel guests could stay, which was quite absurd. I didn't like that, but I was particularly displeased that only Asians had such doubts about us.

It was our first time there. The hotel is stunning with live Jazz and other group performing downstairs. The restaurants and bar are of good quality and we love the Decor. The pool was clean and the views from the deck were amazing. We got upgraded and both of our room. We definitely plan on going back

We love the pool area and lunch there. There’s a deck with panoramic views. Must do!
The lobby was always lively! On some nights, a singer or band would perform. We loved drinking and enjoying some good music.

The expensive rooms with the balcony are nasty now. This hotel really needs to remodel the rooms. We went 3 nights with no heat in the hotel. They kept assuring us that it was going to be fixed. On our 4th night, we woke up to the smell of gas in our room and had to switch rooms. The hotel didn’t offer any discounts for this terrible stay.

Great location. Door men, bag check and also registration desk were all friendly. We had a slight issue as our toilet was leaking. The entire floor next to the toilet was full of water. I told the front desk when we came back to our room it was fixed. Old New Orleans charm. The bar was very nice and remodeled!

The toilet constantly ran all night and the only way to stop that noise was to turn off the water valve when going to bed. It was cold during our stay and the ventilation constantly blew cold air into the room so that it felt like it was in the 50s. The heat would not come on in our room. We complained multiple times each day about it and was told an engineer was getting sent up, however they were not. It didn’t get fixed until the 4th day there.
