Front Staff was very inattentive. Seemed to be looking for ways to avoid contact. With a couple exceptions on our 5 day stay, we were never assisted by doorman or bellman or front desk staff. No one sought to greet us or make us feel welcome. This was our fourth stay at the hotel based largely on friendliness, and quite frankly there may not be a fifth.

The room smelled a little old and musty at first. Otherwise, the room was beautiful. We love the in room jacuzzi. Most of the elevators didn't work. The inroom room temp cooler but no fridge didn't make sense. Had to request a fridge for med purposes.

Housekeeping staff is the absolute *best* in New Orleans. The beds and pillows are soft, too. On the other hand, I've never stayed there when all three elevators actually worked. Two were out of commission this entire week, so walking five flights was necessary much of the time. Our thermostat didn't work and the heat seemed to be centrally controlled, making for a very cold stay. The front desk staff was cordial, but the rooms remained cold. Excellent location, so if you can deal with the inconveniences, everything is walkable from there.

Our experience was less than enjoyable. The thermostat did not work properly. When we went to use the towels in the bathroom, they were soaking wet due to a leak from the sink. We were located on the seventh floor and the elevator stopped working and we had to access our room via the stairs.

The room was in good condition. I only give three stars because I had preordered extras to be brought to my room before I arrived. That did not happen. When I requested these things at the hotel, a young male staffer eventually came to my room. Knocked once, but then quickly proceeded to enter into my room before I had a chance to open the door. I really didn’t appreciate some stranger coming into my room without permission. I could have been in the bathroom.

Hotel is under construction so the rooftop balcony was closed. The pool was closed. There was no hot water one day. The bathroom sink had a leak which got on our clean towels. The elevator went out so had to climb stairs for 2 days. The TV kept losing connection to our station. There was no breakfast offered. Nothing offered to us because of all their problems. I do not recommend staying there.

This once was a nice hotel. Unfortunately, its days of better are long one. Room are outdated. Elevators didn't work and we were on the 6th floor, power went out multiple times, a/c and heat went out on the last night and maintenance couple fix it. I’ll start by saying the staff was wonderful. The hotel itself needs major renovations. The rooms are outdated, stains on carpet, black marks on bedskirt, wallpaper peeling in bathroom, drains and grout in shower need to be replaced, wood floor on balcony needs to be stripped and repainted and electrical plugs on desk don’t charge or hold a plug. Being an Omni I was shocked to see the rooms in such need of major upgrades.
