We stayed for 6 nights, before and after mardi gras. Pros the location is perfect. The beds are soft and comfy, but tiny full size.... the staff was nice. Cons, the noise from all the parades and traffic and cars and people is crazy loud. Like you want earplugs for sure. We had to wait 3 hours past check in before we coud get into oir room and all they offered us was free brrakfast for one day. They were completely under staffed. There was no room service because of this. There was no bartender most mornings becauae he closed the night before. The room is not in vreat shape from all the hooks falling off the walls to none of the lamps working or even being there. The bathroom door didnt close, the fan did not work in the bathroom. The shower was still full of other people's hair. We had 3 towles for a room that slept 6. The air-conditioning did not cool, the room was stuffy and progressively hotter as the day and night went on. There was missing paint and stains all over the walls. The curtians were dingy and stained and torn. The tv was falling off the wall and was therefore perpetually sideways. Everytime the neighbors closed their doors it slammed so hard it shook our beds. The food was just okay. Nothing special and toom forever to get. We did spend fat Tues on the balcony there and paid almost 200 a person. The free all u can drinks were awful. I asked for a mimosa and got chardonnay and ornage juice in ice.... the free food was chicken wings and little dry sandwiches.
