I stayed 1 night, booked through Expedia and paid in full, but Spring Hills charged me another night, and didn't refund. I am still working with Visa to dispute, but they have never responded to my request for a refund, 1 night I did not stay or book. Small kitchenette, but no silverware or any of the plates, so you know.

Overall the only thing I liked about this property is the location. Close to the conversation center and the outlet and the riverfront train. And also easy route to the garden district. If you are looking for these things. Then this is ok for you. No other recommendations.

Overall this was a great hotel for our family of 5 for a quick trip to New Orleans. The location was good. We parked at the hotel and walked to the French Quarter. The room was spacious although the pullout bed wasn't comfortable for my 17 year old. (May be fine for a child). The staff was very friendly. My only complaint is that it took multiple calls and trips to the front desk to get towels for our room. Despite this, we would stay there again. Also, note that valet parking is $42 a night, but we were able to park on the street next to the hotel for free.

Construction was going on which we were not aware of when booking. Only one elevator was running. The room was booked for 5 people there should have been towels and such for 5 people in the room for us. When we called for more towels we waited over an hour for someone to come upstairs with them, recalled and still no one showed. I had to send my kids downstairs to get them.

When I got there room was not ready I had to wait another hour for them to get the room ready, when room finally ready nothing worked, sink clogged, TV cable not working room smelled like wet (moisture). Next door they were renovated another room, noise and dust everywhere that was the worst experience for me at a hotel. Will never go back
