While the staff was always polite and pleasant the facility overall seemed run down. The free breakfast in the mornings were overrun by guests but never refilled—even when coming downstairs before the end of breakfast. One of the elevators broke and created very long waits. The neighborhood was far from all of the main areas without a significant walk through very sketchy city blocks. The room was only cleaned one day and that was because we asked for cleaning. It was hard to believe we were staying at a Marriott chain!!

Clean hotel and room. Great rooftop bar. Negatives - I was put in a handicapped room and it was small and had poor lighting. I don't think I booked that room. No luggage rack. The bathroom light in the shower only worked half the time. The handheld shower part didn't work at all.

The location was great, right down the street from bourbon street and walking distance to the stadium. I did not like the fact that it does not mention on the website that you have to pay for parking each night. The self park we ended up using was about $47 a night and that’s because we had to walk down the street and the sign where we parked says only $20 a night. We did not like that at all. The rooms look so much more lite up on the pictures and there was no lighting in the room besides a few lamps that did not do much. It made it hard for us when getting ready. The sofa couch mattress looked like there was mold underneath it.

When I got to spring hill they told me my room was cancel due to no card on file.i booked through Expedia and Expedia will not let you make an reservation without a card. I’m about to believe my room was canceled for someone else. I stay at this very hotel before and had no problems

The hotel and staff were great - no issues here. Breakfast was well stocked and had everything we wanted. However, the surrounding area is a little run down and for 2-3 nights (weekend?) there was non-stop engine revving from what seemed like drag races happening outside the hotel and very close. This is unfortunate as it cause us to not stay here again for this reason alone when the hotel was perfect in every other way.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was excellent, super friendly and helpful. Traveling around the hotel was fine during the day but you absolutely need to Uber/take Taxi home at night.
