A very friendly atmosphere and architectural gem
Pros:The ambience and especially Carl, the innkeeper.
Cons:Nothing
Location:Great live jazz venues on Frenchmens Street. Street cars, cafes, jazz bars & restaurants in easy walking distance. Day trips to swamps & plantations.
Carl is a wonderful innkeeper. The B&B is run calmly and peacefully. The guests are encouraged to get to know one another and to exchange life stories or travel tips. Carl helped and advised us on booking tours and enjoying the local restaurants and the live jazz venues. Nothing was too much trouble. The coffee was delicious complete with New Orleans chicory! We enjoyed fruit juice, eggs, toast, croissants, little cakes, muffins etc, alongside yoghurt and delicious fresh fruit. Everything we could have wished for. We felt at home and we're sorry when it was time to leave.
