The Space:

Located on the seaside of Hamblyn Street, this classic kiwi style bach is a perfect getaway for families. Just a short stroll from the popular swimming beaches of East End and Fitzroy, you can enjoy the Award Winning Scenic Coastal Walkway that connects you to local restaurants, arts, culture, and shopping. This home has been cherished by the same family for over 40 years, making it a place filled with wonderful memories waiting to be made anew.

We love the 70s vibe of this house. Its proximity to the beach was perfect for a morning swim, close to town and Brooklands. Great for a larger group

Family Holiday - location A

The accommodation was perfect for what we needed. Everything was supplied enabling us to have an easy, fun - accessible to the beach and playground holiday. Our family loved it. The place had great spaces for everyone to sleep soundly and time out.

Family getaway

Wonderful house with character! More than enough room for the extended family, my parents loved the separate self contained area downstairs as a reprieve from their two grandchildren. House is warm, clean and quiet with plenty of seating & the kitchen is well equipped. Only a 2min walk to the beach. We'd happily stay here again, thank you.

That 70s feel

It is true to the era and we enjoyed finding lots of little nic nacs that reminded us of our childhoods. Great to have the space to all stay and be able to sit at night together comfortably. Great cooking facilities too

Great location

House is in an ideal location, 2 minutes walk from the beach. Great for teenagers although the Wifi didn’t quite reach the downstairs bedrooms. The house is indeed a celebration of the 70’s so the decor and fittings are aged but outweighed by the location and view. Property management team very helpful and responsive. We’ll stay here again.

Great sized house, beautiful views but we were cold. Not enough heaters and no central heating/heat pump etc.
