Hythe has a quaint high street. You will find a Waitrose and Sainsburys here and lots of eating places. It boasts a beachfront promenade and lovely military canal walk, also with pedal boat hire.

Dymchurch has fun for the kids with a funfair, amusement arcades and ice cream, fish and chip and gift shops.

Dungeness Nature Reserve is one of the largest expanses of shingle in the world. It boasts an array of plants and birdlife and is recognised as a National Nature Reserve. Here you will also find the old and new light houses.

All the above attractions can be reached by the miniature steam train, Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway (RH&DR)
