Just 2 minutes from the cozy country town of New Waverly, TX, The Cozy Container provides a unique experience, a peaceful stay, and a beautiful view. This eco-friendly tiny shipping container home has one bedroom with a queen bed, one bathroom, a futon (sleeps 1-2), and a convertible chair bed (sleeps 1). 40'x 10' wood deck for relaxation and entertaining. A winery, coffee shop, and several local restaurants downtown, are within 5 minutes! Only a few minutes to many nature trails and forrests, and only 20 minutes to beautiful Lake Conroe! Come experience peaceful country living with us! You get a handcrafted wood gift from our neighbor woodworker, and when you book a pet they get a special treat on us as well!

WEEKDAY BOOKINGS: During weekdays there is a working wood shop next door from 9-4, so just keep that in mind.

We chose this location because it was close to Huntsville State Park. We were staying for a wedding- just my husband and I. We checked in at night after the rehearsal dinner. First look was clean, well management of a small space. Just a few recommendations: you are a not a public bathroom, purchase at least 2-ply toilet paper. Also there is enough space for you to have a real bed. Spend a little money on creature comforts. The view out the front windows was great and the insulation is amazing. We were there for a thunderstorm and could hardly hear it. The directions for getting in were clear.

Cozy place to stay

My wife and I decided on getaway close to home and we ended up at the cozy container. The little container was clean, quiet, and close enough to places to eat and shop. It was a wonderful and peaceful stay.

We thought the place was super cool, nice, clean. It does not sleep 3 grown men which is what we had unless 2 slept in the bed together. I'll blame myself for that because I didn't look closely enough to the description, pics, or ask enough questions. Despite that we did have a good time.

Father-Son Spring Break Getaway

The container home was perfectly appointed and added to the overall experience. We visited for the purpose of hiking the Sam Houston Nat'l Forest and the location was perfect! Super accessible to town and Lake Conroe. Savannah and Adam were wonderful hosts and it is apparent that they have worked hard to provide exceptional accommodations.

Fun Weekend Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend getaway at the Cozy Container! It was so much fun and had a great yard for our 2 dogs! We enjoyed grilling and sitting by the fire pit, along with exploring the nearby cafes and winery! The owner made the check in process seamless, and was very communicative! We would definitely stay here again!
