Why not hire your bicycles at Sherwood Pines Country Park just 6 miles away. With a selection of trails of varying difficulty, you could spend your entire holiday exploring on bikes here. National Trust Clumber Park, 7.5 miles away, is a beautiful expanse of parkland, heath, and woods covering more than 3,800 acres. It is home to beautiful lakeside walks, a kitchen garden, a playpark, and cafes and shops to enjoy. Thoresby Estate is within 2.5 miles and offers events throughout the year.

On entrance into the lodge, make yourself at home in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Put your feet up on the comfy sofas and curl up with a good book or watch something on the nearby Smart TV. There is an electric wood burner-effect fire, which makes it nice and cosy during the cooler months. Rustle up a meal in the kitchen which offers an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. Come together around the nearby dining table to enjoy a holiday meal; open the patio doors and let the fresh air and sounds of the forest into the lodge while you dine. There is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom, both decorated with pretty soft furnishings and matching bedroom furniture. There is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Heading outside onto the decking you will find your private hot tub, where you can spend your evenings relaxing whilst gazing at the stars. There is outdoor furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining, perfect for chilling out in the summer sun. There is off-road parking for two cars.
