Disliked: Cleanliness
This stay was "livable" but it was not well-kept. We left a night early. I thought the other reviews about cleanliness were maybe a few bad apples, but this was just like the other reviews said. Steep street and staircase, not included in the listing which is not something people think to look into and can serve as a severe disadvantage to someome who isn't entirely mobile. There's no landing where the bottom of the staircase meets the front door which also felt like a hazzard. One pan. No staple kitchen items, like cooking oil. Almost non-existent utensils. The bedding was not washed (stain, crumbs, and hair) and we had to ask for a new set. The faucet in the bathroom was backwards in terms of hot and cold (hot was cold and cold was hot). The shower was either scolding hot or freezing if you move the dial a millimeter. The sofa had a huge rip it in under the cover. The wifi is located in the owner's house next door, rather than in the unit so nothing would load. The select button on the TV remote didn't work, so we couldn't use it. I don't usually leave reviews at all, but I would hate to see someone who is physically disabled, or expecting to have a comfortable apartment to come back to be surprised by the state of this unit. I'm not sure how the host doesn't clean or fix anything based on the reviews but I plan on reporting the property to avoid further misunderstanding.
