Welcome to The Old Pitman’s House, a much-loved family home that’s been in the same family for generations. Full of character and stories, this is a place where memories have been made for decades – including the owner’s dad, who was actually born in the house and, legend has it, once slept in the drawers in one of the bedrooms when space was tight!

Today, the house is a warm and welcoming retreat, sleeping up to six guests across three comfortable bedrooms (two doubles and a king).

Welcome to The Old Pitman’s House, a charming and spacious retreat full of character and comfort. Perfect for families, couples or friends, the house sleeps up to six guests across three beautifully presented bedrooms, including two doubles and a king-size room.

Downstairs, you’ll find a cosy living room complete with a log burner… ideal for relaxing evenings, alongside a separate dining room and a well-equipped kitchen, making it easy to gather, cook and unwind together.

Outside, enjoy a large, two-tiered back garden offering plenty of space to relax, dine or let children play. Free on-street parking is available directly outside the property for added convenience.

Guests can also make use of an exclusive local gym a few minutes drive away with our house pass, all guests can enjoy unlimited use of the gym & cafe with our wrist band throughout their stay.
