Thoughtfully renovated 3BR duplex with a private patio in Jersey City, ideal for groups who want easy NYC access and a true home-away-from-home stay. Guests love the fully stocked kitchen, bonus game lounge, and two-level layout that gives everyone a little more room to spread out. Sleeps 8 comfortably. Great for families, friend groups, and longer stays. About a 15-minute walk to Journal Square PATH for quick trips into Manhattan.


This private duplex spans two levels of a classic Jersey City row house. The upper level includes two bedrooms, one bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen, a cozy living area, and patio access. Downstairs, the lower level adds a private third bedroom, second full bathroom, and a bonus game lounge.

We renovated it ourselves, building the custom headboard, repurposing a 120-year-old buffet for the kitchen, and choosing details with real life, not just looks, in mind. It’s a great fit for families, multigenerational groups, and friend groups who want a quiet, comfortable home base near NYC with separate zones for sleeping, relaxing, and spending time together.

GETTING TO NYC
PATH: about a 15-minute walk to Journal Square, then roughly 10–20 minutes into Manhattan once on the train, depending on destination and timing.
NJ Transit bus: about a 3–5-minute walk, around 45 minutes to Times Square, traffic depending.

KITCHEN
Galley-style kitchen with bright blue cabinets and generous counter space. Fully stocked for real cooking, with cookware, spices, oil, coffee, tea, and everyday essentials. Keurig with plenty of pods. In-unit washer/dryer combo and fabric steamer included.

LIVING ROOM
Comfortable upstairs living room with a full-size sofa bed, best for one adult or two kids. Let us know in advance if you’d like it set up.

BEDROOMS
Upper level, Bedroom 1: Custom L-shaped headboard we built ourselves, queen bed, bedside sconces with USB charging ports.
Upper level, Bedroom 2: Calm blue-green tones, small desk for work, queen bed.
The two upper bedrooms are separated by the living room and bathroom, giving each room a bit more privacy.
Ground level, Bedroom 3: Spacious private bedroom with an iron bed frame, mini split, and NYC skyline wall art, accessed by the interior staircase.
All beds are made with 100% cotton sheets and duvet covers.

BONUS GAME LOUNGE (GROUND LEVEL)
The lower level includes a dedicated bonus lounge with a mounted TV, gaming setup, and space for board games, movie nights, and casual hangouts. It functions as a second common area for the duplex and works especially well for families or groups who want a little extra breathing room across two floors.

BATHROOMS
Bathroom 1 (upper level): Newly renovated with a rain showerhead, glass enclosure, and heated towel warmer. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, and a first aid kit are provided.
Bathroom 2 (ground level): Dramatic black tile, vessel sink, wood vanity, and a tub/shower combo with a handheld showerhead and built-in niche. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided.

DINING
Flexible indoor dining with a collapsible table in the living room, plus outdoor seating on the private patio.

PRIVATE PATIO
Private outdoor space with seating and plants, great for morning coffee when the weather cooperates. No grill, per insurance.

PARKING
Street parking is available but can be tight at night. We also have one off-street spot that belongs to another unit and cannot be reserved in advance. If it happens to be open during your stay, we’re happy to offer it at check-in.

Parking notes: Street cleaning Tuesdays and Fridays, 8–10 AM. West Side Avenue commercial zone requires cars to be moved before 7:00 AM. Always check posted signs before parking.

PETS
One dog allowed per reservation. Please add your dog during booking. Unregistered pets may result in cancellation.
