Never a 4 star, barely a 2!

Hotel is awful! Mould in the bathroom, door needs painting, the most uncomfortable and noisey bed I have ever slept on at a hotel! Neithe rmyself nor my wife slept much! If this is a 4 star hotel my goodness Premier Inn must be 5 or 6 star and should be in Dubai!!

Overall very comfortable

I am unable to fault the service as it was excellent. Very friendly staff who cannot do enough for you. Condition of the room could have been better it’s a bit dated and had some minor damage in areas but I did stay in a standard room so maybe the better rooms are more luxury.

Reception staffs and breakfast were nice and helpful except for the leisure staff was miserably and unfriendly. Good location for M4 just couple of minutes drive and Newbury, just 10 minutes drive. The bedroom is nice but need updated otherwise fine.

Friendly welcome from short circuit man. Unaware of parking charge. Electric charging sign but no electric charger for cars. Very underwhelming for a 4 star property. Decor needs updating. Room had no internal security catch.

Little Gem of a place.

Only used as a stop over whilst at the Abingdon fireworks but the small amount of time we were there I have no complaints whatsoever. The only thing I would suggest is that they provide extra pillows and the self check in didn’t require a PIN code to make it work.

Not as good as it was advertised

As reported to reception about the lack of air conditioning. Also the constantly running fan in bathroom which could not be switched off. The pillows and matress were uncomfortable very bouncey. We requested a quiet room but were closest to the link road and with no aircon the noise from vehicles made for a disturbed night sleep.

Room had a damp problem. On arrival could see the carpet looked very worn and the room had a musty smell. (See photo) Was woken up early by a pitter patter of water which must have been from a shower leak in the room above. I did approach reception before going to bed to ask for a non slip bath Matt, they said that someone would come, they never did. Breakfast was no better. We came down at nine o clock. We were clearly the last people booked in for breakfast and all the buffet was empty and looking rather sorry and not appealing. We had to wait for individual items to be brought out so had to wait for individual breakfast items to be brought out and ate breakfast piecemeal.
