The dinner in the restaurant on site was fantastic, and excellent value (we had the daily special). Bathrooms were well appointed, but some of the other guests DON'T clean up after themselves, which is a huge shame.

The noise of clubs and bars can be heard at midnight, the sound of the doors of other units and bathrooms closing due to the use of heavy locks can be heard throughout the night due to the movement of other passengers. The lobby is sometimes crowded and noisy, the cleanliness was adequate.

The room we stayed was clean and comfortable but the toilets were always too wet and the bathrooms downstairs near the stairs was too smelly On the day of checkout - we had no power from 7am in the morning which made it worse for us to charge our phones and laptops. Staff at Jesmond were super friendly and helpful. The room was tidy and modern, shared bathroom was tidy great layout... but... I booked on a Friday night... forgot I was above a pub. Patron noise was pretty loud, even some of the other guests in the accommodation hallway. Could also hear the traffic slightly. I'd suggest you take ear plugs if you're sensitive to noise. I only ate dessert in the Jesmond restaurant, it was great and bar staff as well. Would like to maybe try a meal there. Once the Jesmond did close, it was really quiet!
