Step straight into Swynnerton Old Park, part of the Hanchurch Hills trail system, where winding paths lead through forest and open countryside. When it’s time to refuel, the Fitzherbert Arms (Staffordshire’s award-winning pub) and the Mainwaring Arms are both nearby and well worth the stroll.
Alcor suits couples seeking a romantic escape, friends chasing fresh air and adventure, or solo guests looking to unplug and recharge. The cabin sits 300m from the parking spot—just a short walk uphill to panoramic views and total tranquillity. Swynnerton village is a few minutes’ drive away, and Eccleshall offers more dining options, independent shops, and a top-rated butcher. Wellies are supplied in the log store in order to assist guests to access the cabin if required.
