Great hotel close to town centre

Really enjoyed the stay when we arrived we were upgrade as we have stopped before on 2 previous occasions. Would highly recommend this hotel to any one

Relaxing and very friendly

Pros: Friendly staff great breakfasts very clean and only 5 mins from town centre free parking behind hotel cheap cocktails
Was allowed to book in early on the Friday of arrival staff ever so friendly and helpful town centre was only a bus ride away as bus stop was situated opposite the hotel

Weekend Break

Stayed here for the weekend with my boyfriend. The hotel is in a great location, only a few minutes from the metro, with shops, bars and restaurants around the corner. The hotel pleasantly surpassed my expectations. The room was very clean and bigger than I was expecting, with a lovely en-suite. All the facilities are lovely and modern and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice available. Will definitely be staying here again.

Good location and friendly and helpful staff. Still being refurbished, so some of the common areas a bit atty, but room was modern, clean and comfortable, if not exactly huge

Nice reception area shame about the rest

I stayed in the Cairn hotel for my daughter's Graduation as she had a house near by. The reception area looked respectable but once through the door leading to the room the standard dropped dramatically. The shabby carpeted stairs led up to a shabby room with broken furniture and no hot water on the second morning. The dining room was barely better with an interminable wait for a pot of tea/milk/clean cups etc. 'staffed' by bored waitresses who appeared little interested in the concept of service. I'm glad I will not have to visit again.
