Alice Street is well placed for getting around Sunderland and beyond, whether you’re travelling by car or using public transport. Major road links are close by, giving you quick access to the A19 and A690, making journeys to Newcastle, Durham, and the wider North East straightforward and stress-free.
Public transport is equally convenient. Local bus routes run nearby, and Sunderland’s Metro and train stations are just a short distance away, connecting you easily to the city centre, the coast at Roker and Seaburn, and direct routes to Newcastle and Newcastle Airport. Getting around the city is simple, whether you’re heading out for work, a day at the beach, or an evening in town.
With strong road connections and reliable public transport close at hand, Alice Street is a practical and well-connected base for exploring Sunderland and the surrounding area.

- NO SMOKING INSIDE: We kindly request that smoking be avoided inside the premises. Any indication of smoking will incur a fee of £300 for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

- We do require a separate short term rental agreement to be signed directly with us and a pre-arrival form filled prior to your stay.

At Vacant Nests, we’re dedicated to ensuring our property is protected throughout every guest stay. To provide peace of mind for both owners and guests, we require all guests to either have a £400 fully refundable security deposit hold placed on their account or purchase a £40 one-time Accidental Damage Waiver, which covers up to £500 of accidental damage during the stay.
