Alternatively, visit the English Heritage’s Goodrich Castle, National Trust’s Round House and Naval Temple, and Norchard Railway Station Museum on the Dean Forest Railway. Monmouth, with its castle, wide high street and good range of shops, and Chepstow Castle, are well worth a visit. There are also walks, golf and mountain biking opportunities available nearby.
